The Vegetarian Butcher’s unrivalled quality means that diners can keep eating their favourite dishes without any sacrifice or compromise.

With 49.4 billion meat-free occasions taking place across the year[1], the need for plant-based options for diners, that don’t compromise on flavour or texture, has never been greater.

The latest plant-based innovations from The Vegetarian Butcher include:

Vegan Pepperoni

Vegan Pepperoni

The Vegetarian Butcher’s first-ever collaboration with Domino’s Pizza Group will see the launch of their new Vegan PepperoNAY Pizza, which will be in-store and online from the 4th January 2022.

Made from legume, the innovative vegan pepperoni has the same cured pork, garlic, and slight smokiness you would expect from its meaty counterpart. With its crunchy crust edges and a softer inner meat-like texture, it's the perfect plant-based alternative.

Plant-Based Tuna

Plant-Based Tuna

The launch of Starbucks New Plant-based Tu’NAH sandwich made with The Vegetarian Butcher’s plant-based tuna is available instore from the 5th of January 2022, as a limited edition.

The tuna alternative is designed to replicate the taste and texture of tuna from a pea protein base, providing customers with the delicate fish taste that they would expect from a great quality tuna.

Plant-Based Nuggets

Plant-Based Nuggets

Having previously partnered with Burger King to launch its Vegan Society approved Plant-Based Whopper and Vegan Royale burgers. The third launch will see Plant-Based Nuggets take centre stage.

The combination of soy and wheat protein gives the nugget the exact firmness and ‘bite’ you would expect from a chicken nugget. With the white chicken meat taste inside and crispy tempura with a hint of celery, it’ll be hard to tell the difference!

Hazel Detsiny, VP F&R Away from Home UKI, says:

This Veganuary, we’re on a mission to provide plant-based alternatives for some of the UK’s most-loved high-street on-the-go dishes. With many diners trying plant-based for the first time, there’s never been a more crucial time for operators to ensure that menus are as inclusive as possible, and that plant-based dishes are at the centre – and what better way to make plant-based living more accessible than launching three market firsts with three well-known operators – Starbucks, Domino’s Pizza and Burger King.
When it comes to creating a great plant-based menu, we recommend that operators recreate their best-loved dishes rather than creating an entirely different menu. Our range of Butcher’s cuts enable operators, big and small, to do just that.

The Vegetarian Butcher is made by meat lovers, for meat lovers and provides the ultimate plant-based experience.

Our products replicate the moreish taste and texture you get from meat, whilst being better for the planet and animals – it’s a win, win for everyone!
