Unilever Food Solutions – Sunflower Oil Statement
Currently we’re facing shortages of sunflower oil, which means that we are reformulating some of our recipes with alternative vegetable oils such as rapeseed or soy bean oil. The ingredient declaration on the pack will be updated with the oil type used. In some exceptional cases we start to produce with a new oil type before the new packaging is ready; in this case, we will inform through other ways like printing the oil type used in the ‘Best Before Date’ area on pack or adding an extra sticker on pack with the relevant information. This is a temporary situation until the new packaging is ready. For clarity, please note that these changes will of course never affect consumer safety or allergens. Safety of our products for our consumers is our priority.
